… And here it is!

Ingredients:

500 g rhubarb
1 kg sugar
1 liter water

Day 1:

Bring sugar and water to boil. 
Cut rhubarb in thin slices, and place them in a bowl or a pot. 
Pour the hot sugar syrup over the rhubarb, and cover with a lid. 
Leave until cold or overnight. 

Day 2:

Strain the rhubarb pieces from the syrup. 
The rhubarb pieces are perfect to use as part of a dessert or on top of yoghurt. 
Serve the syrup as a cordial, diluted with 5-6 parts water.
