7 years later - we call this land 'home'

We moved from Copenhagen to the woods 7 years ago.
We had a successful restaurant in the city, but the call of the wild grew stronger.

We wanted to live a life in sync with nature.
A life we wouldn’t need vacation from.
A life where we could live in a way that would cause as little harm as possible.

We would grow our own food, take well care of earth’s resources, do our very best to make our footprint a positive one.

It has been quite a journey, and 7 years in we feel we are only just getting started. Our vision is to one day be remembered as the ancestors who chose a different path - we don’t expect praise or to see the results of our efforts to unfold fully in this lifetime. But every day we do see and feel the positive effects of the choice we made back then, in Copenhagen in 2016.

We will not lie, it was hard. To take such a big, bold leap and have such high ambitions you have to grow to become the person who can pull it off. We got more challenges than what most people experience in a lifetime (one day we will tell the whole story).

But here we are. Still standing.
Still in love.
With each other, our life and this beautiful planet we live on.
